On May 11, 1949, in LaPorte, she married Alex Robowski. He died June 1, 1976. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Cole of Warsaw; two sons, Allen of Grovertown and Rondell of Bass Lake; five grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Ziegler of Daniels, W.Va., and Virginia Stout of Hamlet; and three brothers, Charles Howard, Nero Howard and Alonzo Howard all of LaPorte. She was employed at the Catherine Casper Home, Donaldson. Joe Nissley NAPPANEE Joe Nissley, 72, of Route 1, died Wednesday night in his winter home in Sarasota, Fla.

Thompson Yoder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Gloy N. Bennett ETNA GREEN Gloy N. Bennett, 71, of Etna Green Mobile Home Court, died at 1:28 p.m. Wednesday in Kosciusko Community Hospital in Warsaw.

Mr. Bennett was born Nov. 17, 1915, in Troy, W.Va. He had lived in Etna Green since moving from Warsaw five years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Marlene Leiter of Venice, and Connie Jamison of Claypool; a son, Steven of Warsaw; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six sisters; and a brother.

Mr. Bennett was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Rock Grove Baptist Church, Linn, W.Va. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Home, Warsaw.

Freeby, 3-month-old son of Kimberli Freeby and Robert Ripplinger of 12537 Bonnie Lane, died at 5:54 a.m. today in his home. Elkhart County Coroner Carl Yoder is investigating the death as a Sudden Infant 74-year-old killed when hit by train MICHIGAN CITY Kenneth C. Cover, 74, of 418 E. Seventh St.

was killed Wednesday when he was struck by a South Shore train in Gary. Gary police said Cover apparently was standing on the tracks near 3600 W. Third Avenue at 5:45 a.m. when he was struck by the train. His car was parked nearby, and police said they have no idea why he was on the tracks.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte. There will be no visitation. Carlisle Funeral, Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr.

Cover was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Rensselaer. On Oct. 22, 1933, in Michigan City, he married Helen Fenton. She died Jan.

5, 1976. Surviving is a sister, Thelma Kring of Michigan City. Mr. Cover was a retired salesman, having been employed by the county directory. Death Syndrome case.

David was born Oct. 16 in Elkhart. Other survivors. are the maternal of Elkhart grandparents, Keith Freeby and Leann Morgan of Indianapolis; and paternal grandparents, Mary and Edwin Ripplinger of Union. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m.

Neidig, 91, of 10832 Cedar Road, died at 7:32 p.m. Wednesday in Bremen Community Hospital. Mr. Neidig was born Feb. 1, 1895, in Bourbon and lived there all his life.

On Aug. 5, 1915, he married the former Mabel M. Craig, who died Oct. 31, 1974. Surviving are four daughters, Gene Springer of Granger, Marjorie Cook and Phyllis Faulkner, both of Bourbon, and Ruth Gombos of Garden City, three sons, William and Joseph, both of Bourbon, and James of Corvallis, 35 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Erma Zumbaugh of Plymouth.

A daughter, Roma Dinius, preceded him in death. Mr. Neidig was a retired farmer. He was a member of Albright United Methodist Church. Services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Deaton Funeral Home and an hour before the services in the church.

James J. Fisher WINAMAC James J. Fisher, 63, of Route 1, died at 6:52 p.m. Wednesday in Pulaski Memorial Hospital after an illness. Mr.

Fisher was born June 14, 1923, in LaPorte County. On March 27, 1946, at Lake Bruce, he married the former Darlene Hamilton. She survives with two daughters, Melody Doty of Winamac and Bonnie Broker of Plymouth; two sons, Timothy Winamac and Michael of Knox; five grandchildren; four sisters, Kathryn Moore of Des Moines, Iowa, Yvonna Nacke of Swayzee; Barbara Fisher of Manassas, and Madeline Sommers of Star City; and two brothers, Charles of Winamac and Donald of Star City. Mr. Fisher was an independent truck driver.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Frain Mortuary. Burial will be in McKinley Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m.

Wheeler was born Feb. 14, 1905, in Ashtabula and moved to Union in 1981. In 1934, in Ashtabula, she married Kimball L. Wheeler, who died in 1981. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Dlouhy, with whom she lived; and two grandsons.

A brother, Arthur Berg, preceded her in death. Elsie Frazier CASSOPOLIS Services for Elsie Frazier, 98, of the Cass County Medical Care Facility, who died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the facility, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Connelly Funeral Home. Burial will be in Prospect Hills Cemetery.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Frazier was born Dec. 2 28, 1888, in Montgomery, and came to Cassopolis in 1933 from Chicago.

On April 9, 1951, she married Arnold B. Frazier, who died in 1985. Surviving are a grandson; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. A son preceded her in death. She was a member of the Bethel AME Church and the Cass County Medical Care Facility Auxiliary.

Eva M. Lawrence DOWAGIAC Eva M. Lawrence, 96, of Dowagiac Nursing Home, formerly of Gravel Lake and Schoolcraft, died at 2:20 a.m. Wednesday in the nursing home. Services will be at 10 a.m.

Mr. Fields was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Eau Claire. On Sept. 8, 1946, he married June Norris, who survives with a daughter, Jane Miller of Stevensville; a son, John Fields of Niles; three grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Fields of Benton Harbor.

Mr. Fields retired in 1984 as a sales representative from Chevron Co. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club, First United Methodist Church and Methodist Men's Club. He graduated from Michigan State University. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

26, 1902, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Feb. 11, 1944, in South Bend, she married Walter Schulz. He died May 11, 1968. She is survived by a stepdaughter; a stepson; and several nieces and nephews, including Robert Schulz of South Bend.

Burial was to be at Highland Cemetery. Arrangements are with Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St. She was a member of Gloria dei Lutheran Church, to which memorial contributions may be made.

George W. Osmanski Jr. George Walter Osmanski 42, of 17891 Ponader Drive, died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness.

Mr. Osmanski was a tool and die maker for Superior Tool Die, Elkhart. He was born April 28, 1944, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident. On Nov. 18, 1967, in South Bend, he married the former Sharon Kay Bennett, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Lori K. and Julie both at home; three sisters, Evelyn Bowers and Mary Barbee, both of Mishawaka, and Joanne Sipocz of South Bend; a brother, Mike of Mishawaka; and his parents, Agnes and George Osmanski of Mishawaka. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial will be in St.

Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Osmanski was a member of American Turners and Knights of Columbus, John Carroll Lodge 5570.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph's Medical Center oncology unit or the Michiana Campfire Camp Tannadoonah Fund. Robert Medich Robert Medich, 74, of Indianapo- lis, died at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Community Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr.

Medich was a retired toolmaker. He was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Pennsylvania and moved to Indianapolis 50 years ago. On June 6, 1937, he married Frances Yovanovich, who died in 1978. He is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Milovojac of Indianapolis; a grandson; three sisters, Dorothy Delich of South Bend, Mildred Kisil of Parma, Ohio, and Violet Rodich of Hobart, three brothers, Mike and Bud, both of South Bend, and Joseph of Columbia, S.C.

Tuesday in Royal Terrace Nursing Home, McHenry. Mrs. McCormick was born Dec. 3, 1913, South Bend and moved to Illinois 1948. She is surin vived by a sister-in-law, Ruth McCormick of Winfield, and several nieces and nephews.

today in Clark's Funeral Chapel. Mr. Kittrell was employed by Bendix Corp. He was born May 18, 1943, in Paducah, and had lived in South Bend since 1966. On March 11, 1964, in Paducah, he married the former Marcia McNichols, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Karana, at home; two sons, Clarence E. Jr. and Dante, both at home; a grandchild; a sister, Rosa Scott of Paducah; two brothers, Curtis Kittrell of Memphis, and Joseph Scott Jr. of Bowling Green, Ky. He was a member of the church and served as deacon and was a former member of John Moore Masonic Lodge.

Albert T. Keb NORTH LIBERTY Albert Keb, 86, of 502 Pine died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth, after an illness. Mr. Keb was a carpenter.

He was born Oct. 8, 1900, in South Bend, and had lived in North Liberty for the past 35 years, coming from Mishawaka. In October 1923, he married Florence E. Ball, who died in 1950. In July 1950, in South Bend, he married Ruth Newcomer, who died in July 1984.

Surviving are a daughter, Maryetta Garner of Argos; two sons, Charles of South Bend and Albert Jr. of Bourbon; a stepdaughter, Rosemary Kagel of Mulberry, a stepson, Dale Newcomer of Walkerton; several grandchildren; several great a sister, Renata of South Bend and a brother Erwin of Edwardsburg. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at King Memorial Home, Mentone. Burial will be at St.

Dvorak Eulalia S. Dvorak, 89, of 1229 Blaine died at 3:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs.

Dvorak was born May 25, 1897, in Chicago and lived in South Bend since coming from LaPorte in 1917. On Feb. 1 13, 1926, in South Bend, as Eulalia Niesen, she married William J. Dvorak. He died March 27, 1978.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Ferry of South Bend; three sons, William E. and James both of South Bend, and Richard P. of Niles; 21 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sister Mary Elizabeth Niesen, CSC, of Anderson, and Charleta Mortell of South Bend. Services will be a at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Catholic Church.
