On August 5th 2024 I have started in a new position as Senior Project Manager at Delta Wind Partners (part of OWC), after 15 years and 2 days at Siemens Wind Power and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy. It is hard for me to put into words the opportunities, challenges and great experiences the company has made available for me the last 15 years. I am grateful for have been working with so many competent and inspiring people in the whole organization through the years! Close to 5 years of valuable global experience in dealing with different customer needs in my role as Senior Project Manager / Senior WTG Project Manager within Siemens Gamesa’s Offshore Business Unit Project Execution department in Vejle. Directly involved in more than 4.5 GW of offshore wind projects having experience with implementing four different offshore SGRE DD Turbine platforms in four projects (the Netherlands, GB, DK and Taiwan), as member of the SGRE core management teams in the execution projects. Thanks to all the execution team members for the fine cooperation and fun, good luck doing the final installations!And before that, more than 10 years in Siemens Wind Power / SGRE Offshore Business Unit Technology Engineering Department in Brande, in the role as Senior Project Manager / Turbine Project Manager – as overall Senior PM responsible in several challenging and new R&D platform projects involving new innovations in many areas of the organization. Among others the development of the DX - Next Generation Offshore flagship turbine, cost out on 8MW DD platform, development of the 7MW DD platform and not to forget the development of the 6MW Offshore DD Platform. Thanks to all team members and managers involved for the fun, the cooperation and the challenging experiences.In my new role as Senior Project Manager at Delta Wind Partners (part of OWC), I am looking forward to continuing my passion for work in the renewable energy sector and offshore wind. I am grateful for being offered the opportunity for utilizing my 15 years of experiences in the offshore wind industry and the opportunity for also working on the Client side on new potential projects. Thanks to the team at Delta Wind Partners for the warm and professional welcome! Looking forward to the months and years ahead as I get to know my new colleagues and organization.
