Located in the historic Art Deco district, the hotel boasts a perfect location for exploring South Beach. Shopping on Lincoln Road is within walking distance and there are lots of excellent dining and nightlife options nearby as well. When you're ready to get away from it all, the beach a just steps from the door. In addition, the Miami International Airport is conveniently only four miles away.

Overall, guests were impressed with their accommodations. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious, and comfortable. The mini-fridge was extra comfortable. Furthermore, many guests appreciated the complimentary daily breakfast and the evening wine and cheese social hour.

The staff at Ithaca of South Beach is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. If you run into any problems, they will try to resolve it in an efficient manner. If you need suggestions on where to go or how to get there, don't hesitate to ask, as the staff is very knowledgeable about the area.

Though most guests didn't have a problem, some noticed that there isn't always staff present or available at the front desk, despite 24-hour reception. In addition, the valet service can be very slow, so make sure to adjust your schedule for extra time.

To enter the hotel, guests must first climb a set of stairs up to reception. The general elevator onsite is for luggage only, so if you have difficulty with stairs, you may want to request a lower-floor room.

Some guests were bothered by street noise, but most did not have any complains. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to ask for a quieter room just in case, and bring earplugs with you as a precaution.
