TheComms, Content and Digital Marketing Managermust have a passion for storytelling and is proficient in developing and executing comms, content and digital marketing strategies that enhance our brand awareness, invite positive and meaningful interactions, and support progression of prospects and customers through their Telstra buying journey. This role will also have copywriting and internal comms responsibilities, as well as assisting with website management, and other marketing projects as necessary.

Key Accountabilities

  • Support the South Asia Campaign Managers in the development of effective marketing strategies and yearly campaign execution plans
  • Work with the Head of Marketing to develop a comms strategy and execution plan to achieve yearly branding objectives across online/offline media and social media platforms
  • Develop content for South Asia Telstra websites, solution campaigns, and Telstra Enterprise social media channels, that support campaign and comms KPIs related to reach/engagements with target personas, social media reach/engagements, and relevant website traffic metrics
  • Execution of comms/digital/social components to the yearly solution campaigns
  • Execution of tactics of the yearly comms plan
  • Write compelling copy for a range of different formats including emails, blogs, case studies, and other content formats as well as proof all web, email, social media and print copy
  • Track progress of content and digital engagements through various platforms such as Hootsuite and Eloqua, as well as analyse and report on insights
  • Ownership of relevant internal comms programs and initiatives
  • Management of PR, digital and content agencies

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a marketing related discipline
  • 6+ years of B2B marketing with significant responsibilities across 2 or more of the following marketing disciplines: comms, paid digital, content, social
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive copywriting across a range of different formats
  • Proven success supporting B2B marketing campaigns using digital marketing tactics
  • Knowledge or proficiency with organic digital campaign strategy or tactics
  • Track record of multimedia content development and copywriting for 1 or more solutions similar to Telstra’s Enterprise portfolio
  • Experience with running or supporting B2B marketing campaigns using digital marketing tactics across multiple APAC markets
  • Knowledge or proficiency with using relevant tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Eloqua, etc) to track campaign progress and leverage insights to optimise results a definite advantage

JOB BRIEF

This position requires you to produce content for digital audiences across key social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Be it digital marketing campaigns, social media posts, short video storyboards or landing page copies, you will undertake a wide range of content marketing projects targeted at both B2C and B2B customers.

You must have a strong grasp of the English language and an even stronger desire to learn on the job.
